Jon Obika was at the double as Swindon Town cruised to a routine 2-0 victory at home to Doncaster Rovers on Tuesday evening.
The striker notched either side of half-time as the Robins claimed their fourth win on the bounce to cut the gap on the play-offs to just four points.
Obika – who had failed to find the back of the net on seven occasions prior to last night’s encounter at The County Ground – opened the scoring on the stroke of half-time after diverting Michael Doughty’s header beyond Donny stopper Thorsten Stuckmann.
Town dominated proceedings and made sure of the three points after the break, Obika latching onto Fabien Robert’s fine pass before powering upfield and slotting home to make it eleven goals for the season.
And the visitors finished the game with ten men after midfielder Richard Chaplow was given his marching orders for accumulating two yellow cards.
Photographer Richard Wintle took his place pitchside to snap the best of the action as Town celebrated another three-point haul and their first home clean sheet of the season.
