Swindon Town defender Raphael Rossi Branco is rated as touch and go for this weekend’s crunch clash against Coventry City.
The centre-back – who has 32 appearances to his name so far this season – is currently struggling with a groin injury and faces a race against time to prove his fitness for Saturday’s game.
Branco returned to the fold for last weekend’s 2-2 draw with Millwall after missing three games with a troublesome hamstring injury, winning the second-half penalty that kick-started Town’s superb comeback.
However, the 25-year-old has now been hampered by a fresh injury and could find himself on the sidelines again with recent arrival Jamie Sendles-White likely to slot in on the right side of a back-three.
Town are also assessing the fitness of midfielder Drissa Traore, who has been laid low by illness this week.
Meanwhile, the Sky Blues will be without Chris Stokes after the left-back suffered a knee injury earlier this month, while Jordan Willis is nearing a return but Saturday will come too soon.
