Swindon Wildcats will face the Guildford Flames over two legs in the Quarter-Finals of the EPL Play-Offs, it has been announced this morning.

The Cats rounded off their regular 2015/16 campaign with a four-point weekend, beating both the Hull Pirates and the Telford Tigers by a scoreline of 7-4 to wrap up sixth place in the league.

Swindon will now pit their wits against the Flames – who finished third in the EPL – for a place at the Coventry Finals Weekend next month.

Due to their lofty place in the final standings, Guildford have been handed home advantage in the second leg, which will take place on Sunday 27th March with Face-Off at 6pm.

And the Wildcats will be hoping to get off to a flyer in this matchup when they host the first-leg at the Link Centre on Saturday 26th March – Face-Off 5.45pm.

Swindon did battle with Guildford on six occasions during the regular season, winning two and losing four, although the Cats did claim the bragging rights the last time the two sides met courtesy of a 3-2 home success on March 5th.

The Flames failed to make Coventry for the first time in ten seasons last year, although they did taste glory in the Play-Offs back in the 2010/11 campaign.
